ReplyDeletejust heard from Katie's owners. told them we might keep her :) they're going to pick her up tomorrow. sleeping now after a 30+ hour trip home! with a two year old!!
ReplyDeleteNope, we filed jointly. Once TurboTax did a check, they found a few boxes that shouldn't have been checked if we wanted to file separately. Once we unchecked the boxes, we ended up owing even more. So we went back to plan A. Hopefully next year we'll fare better with a dependent.
