Boo!

Check out Julie's contribution to the pumpkin world, 2008 (the one with the rats)! She 'carved' her pumpkin using my power drill ;)

The other pumpkin (the one with the smile) is Rachel's - who carved her first pumpkin in many a year. That's Julie and Rachel at the door giving out candy to a group of kids. This was the first time Rachel had ever given out candy to kids on Halloween night. So cute!

Julie, that pumpkin you carved is just plain freaky!! It looks like something from the movie Mouse Hunt.

How many trick or treaters did you have? We had almost 300...Troy manned the door for us.

Racheal had never handed out candy? Did she go underground for Halloween?

We only had about 40 kids. I bought 150 piece bag from Costco!! Rachel grew up out in the country and not many kids came around. I did teach her the rule one piece for the kids and one for yourself!!

I love the pumpkins. I think they are both awesome! It's fun to be creative with pumpkins, but I don't like the goo either. Our family has switched to fake ones that you can carve and don't rot.
