oops... sorry Janice.. FBCLA is First Baptist Church of Los Altos.. our old church. we started Highway (our current church) just before Easter 2000. better?
Not really, Uncle Steve. What you're really seeing is a picture that captures the precious moment right before I push the wagon out from underneath Hannah. That's why my hand is up against the wagon: leverage. As the story goes I executed my plan flawlessly and 1.46 seconds after this picture was taken Hannah found herself on the losing end of a battle between her comfort and gravity. She never saw it coming. Oh, and it was totally worth it, even if I did lose freckle privileges for a month.
I want to say 1996. Joel would have been 12 and Hannah 7. No proof yet!Still looking for conformation. I'm comparing it to Hannah's hairdos for that year.
I'm gonna go with mom and say 1996. Like she said I would have been 12, and that's when I started transitioning from my cute childhood to awkward pubescence. You can already see some changes taking hold: rounding face, stupid hair cut (supposing you could see any hair under the Santa Hat), jeans I remember being ridiculously uncomfortable, etc. Ah, adolescence.
Tod and Julie are Empty Nesters! .. with two amazing kids (Joel and Hannah) that we simultaneously miss deeply.. and cheer madly as they blaze their own trails in life. Joel is married to Carissa and they have blessed us with two beautiful grandchildren; Ryan and Cailin!

AAAAWWWWWWW!
Can anyone guess the year??
hint: we were still at FBCLA.
I'll guess 1998...
I will guess 1997. What is FBCLA? Not much of a hint!

I could understand the rhymes better than the initials! Thanks for the clarifications. I will stick with my original guess.
I think Joel is having Red Wagon issues. He looks as though he is going to take it home with him after the picture.
