Berkeley Prep

It seems way too soon to be losing her again.. but Hannah goes back to Berkeley this weekend. She has accepted the responsibility of being a Resident Assistance (RA) in her dorm this year.. which means she will be shepherding an entire dorm floor through the year. She goes back early to get herself settled in (we've been doing lots of shopping!) as well as to receive additional training before she has to greet her floormates later in August.

We threw an impromptu party last Sunday - just so we could all hang out and enjoy one last barbeque together! The Logans and Scotts joined us.. as did Hannah's inseparable girlfriends. And what better way to get ready to go to Berkeley than to tie-dye! Luckily, we were able to convince the girls to do the project in the front yard! What a mess.

The pictures just show the dropcloth upon which the shirts were made. They weren't 'done' yet when I took the pictures.. so I'll have to get Hannah to model hers sometime this week before she goes back.

We love having Hannah around; the energy.. the fun.. and just her presence. It's been a great Summer and we're getting a bit sad to have her transitioning back to school. So, we're going to hold on to Summer for a few more days!
