Yes, Skipper has joined our family. We are the new foster parents of a 10 yr old Miniature Schnauzer.
Skipper is the constant companion of Dorothy Drew - 92 - a client of Julie's pet hospital and a friend. Julie has been providing Dorothy assistance for the last few years in taking care of Skipper as she has become less able to get around as much as she used to (amazingly - she still lives alone and takes care of herself!).Recently, Dorothy has been having some health issues that mean she is going to need additional assistance and she will no longer be able to live independently. So, we are taking care of Skipper - perhaps for a short period - or perhaps indefinitely while those issues and plans work themselves out.
