Gorgeous Gals and $5 Challenge

Just thought you might enjoy a picture of my gorgeous girls from a recent trip we make to Berkeley!

Now that you have a good visual image of her... here's your challenge: find Hannah among a few thousand of her fellow students during the Cal v USC game. $5 to the first one that can find her. Best of luck!

Okay. Either she is the second person from the left that is painted blue or the 8th person in from the right about a quarter of the way up the stands!

Maggie and I would like to split the winnings, we found ourselves! Unfortunately, we are directly behind 2 giant men. But I am being serious, We really did find ourselves!

Checks payable to Hannah Henderson and Margarita Vasquez.

Rachel.. you are so full of it! hahaha

Hannah.. not sure you and Maggie should be allowed to win??? I mean - you actually know where you were sitting!

I couldn't even find you. This contest is just a cheap aid to me in my declining years and the resultant vision loss :)

So - maybe I'll pay you two and the next person that finds you! (but you gotta be the judge if the person is right.. because I have no idea where you actually are!!)

Help: here is something you may not know about your browser. Hold down the Cntl key and then hit the '+' key. It will zoom in on your web page. Hitting it repeatedly will zoom a lot. To zoom out? Hold down the Cntl key and then hit '-'.

That might make it easier to check out the people in the image.

Go for it.

BTW.. I think I might have found Hannah!

DISQUALIFICATION: Joel Henderson. The new father of a tater has been officially disqualified because he is contacting me through text messaging for insider information. Did you learn nothing from Enron Bro?!?1

There were no stipulations or guidelines given in the blog post that could be construed as prohibiting the use of information obtained from credible sources regarding your location.

folks,

the THBCC - or Team Henderson Blog Competition Committee - has been observing the latest sibling interplay. while we are greatly amused; we take this moment to reiterate the following:

a) any and all non-criminal methods may be utilized in responding to a THB Quiz and or Contest.

b) collaboration - emotionally, physically or electronically - is always encouraged as the THB has as one of its founding principles to foster community vs. isolationalism.

that being said - we might also point out to Ms. Henderson that she is, herself, guilty of collaboration in accordance with her own admittance of assistance from one 'Margarita Vasquez' a.k.a. Maggie!

play on...

Correction:

- This creates an unfair advantage for certain players. Some players have my cell phone number and also have unlimited text messaging plans. Also, they may have Verizon.

Therefore, this has an adverse impact on certain subgroups.

Being the ethical and law abiding person I am, I choose to make this a nondiscriminatory game and level the playing field.

Also brother, we are playing this on a honor system and I am appalled that you would suggest anything that is not specifically prohibited is fair game.

And father, this is not promoting isolationism, this is promoting self-sufficiency and independence.

first off hannah.. that response is worthy of a bloggie :) way to ignore the THBCC.

addressing your final point - if everyone took your point to the extreme - perhaps charity would cease to exist. charity demands we love our neighbor.

who is your neighbor if not your brother?

First, it is not unethical or against the rules of the honor system to ask for help. Notice I did not ask you to find yourself for me, only to help me.

Second, as a person with free will you are more than welcome to not help me if you choose. I will never force you or blackmail you into helping me.

Third, just because I have your cell phone number does not mean I am the only one able to contact you, nor does lacking your phone number preclude others from contacting you. If I am not mistaken, you do have email and facebook accounts, right?

Fourth, it can be considered hypocritical judgment to hold others to your own subjective standards while parading your moral superiority (see Matt 7:4-5)

Lastly, and this is the coup de gras: no person is an island. If we begin to slide down the slope of "self-sufficiency", we may forget how broken and dependent on someone other than ourselves we really are. Relationships provide us the only means to succeed.
